When you connect a USB stick to Skyview the System Software menu (press and hold buttons 7 and 8) become available and you can export the settings. Page 3-14 of the installation manual. SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SOFTWARE > EXPORT SETTINGS. It creates two files. One for sensor definitions and one for the rest of the settings.
If you purchased any licenses (VP-X, MAP, etc) be sure to write those down also. I had warranty work done on my Skyview and had to re enter my licenses when I got it back.
