Battery Backup Test

My Dynon HDX (latest SW version 16.7.0 has been installed) just started to give me the warning that the BU Battery needs to be tested (I did it about 6 months ago and it passed). Problem is that when I pressed the Test Battery button (did this several times) the Dynon just rebooted and gave me a "System Event 3" message and told me to export the Diagnostic File to a USB. But the Dynon is not seeing that I have plugged in the USB (yes it is properly formatted as I checked the same USB in my other Display it works) to download the file. Any recommendations?

It's plugged directly into the EFIS, right? The cable connectors don't work anymore. I'd try a different USB drive, just in case, even though it works on the other display. If that doesn't work, contact Dynon support. You're going to have to do that eventually anyway.

I tried both, same result. It is funny that it worked in both on the 7" and the Map Database is plugged into the "cable connector" on my 7" and it still works as well. I even attempted to reload the latest software on the 10" and it saw the USB for that purpose, it just didn't "reload it" since it was the same as the current version...

System Event 3 is very non-specific. It simply means there was an error that caused the system to reboot. I'd pull the system logs and contact support.

I received a System Event error, I can remember the number, when my HDX DSub connectors were not completely screwed in and secure.
