Battery not Recognized

I bought a new battery backup and installed on my SV1000T. The old battery tested good on the SV1000T and I decided to use it on my SV700 (no battery was ever connected to it). Once connected, I changed the "battery connected" to YES. The system doesn't see the battery, I receive a yellow "B/U Batt Unavail" and white "B/U Batt Test Needed" cautions. The system won't power-up with a long press on button 1 or give any options for battery test on power-down. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? The SV700 has a voltage of 13.16V but shows a battery status of 00.00V and I know it just tested good on the SV1000T.

Check the DB37 plug on the back of the unit. I had the same issue and found the plug was not making good connection. You can read what happened in this thread:

Thanks GalinHdz, I gave this a shot but with no success. I removed and reset the D37. Do you think it could be a bad wire?

It might be a bad wire. IMHO you should contact DYNON support and get them to help. The few times I have contacted them they have been superb.
