What do all the lines say in SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > BATTERY BACKUP STATUS?

So the lines that say DATE OF LAST TEST:UNTESTED and TEST RESULT :N/A indicate that SkyView doesn't think a battery test was attempted (if it was and it failed, you'd see a different message here).

Can you describe to start the test, and what you saw when you did?

Do you know whether or not you had a GPS lock when you started the test?

I did the first Skyview battery test on my RV-12 and it passed - but I only got 45mins. I read that there should be in excess of 60mins. Is this because the battery was not fully charged - even though it said it was - when the test was initiated (12.03V I think it was)? I have not run the engine as yet (Rotax 912 ULS) but have a charger keeping the Odyssey battery up to charge.

After 45 minutes, the system actually automatically shuts SV down. So it's not a complete drain test, just one to get to the "good enough" threshold of 45+ minutes. In "real use", you'd expect it to last even longer.
