best time to install the new Firmware 4.0.1

I have the Skyview up and running but don't have the EMS-220 installed. No engine yet. Should I wait until I have the EMS all installed before I add the new Firmware 4.0.1 US? Or would it be ok to go ahead and install it now? Right now I have the Firmware 3.3.2.1094 loaded in the Skyview.

On page 3-13 How to update Firmware: In the number 5 line, it states to press UPDATE. I couldn't find UPDATE. Only
EXPORT SETTINGS,
EXPORT DATA LOG,
EXPORT USER WAY POINT,
LOAD FILES.
The UPGRADE SYSTEM SOFTWARE was not highlighted.
How do I get to UPDATE? Thanks for any help.

It's fine to do the update to the display now - no need to wait until you install the SV-EMS-220. When you do finally install it, as soon as you update the network configuration, the system will find the SV-EMS-220, update it (if required) and then let you start viewing it).

To load v4.0.1, select LOAD FILES.
A window will display with a list of the files on the USB Flash Drive.
Select the file you downloaded from the Dynon website.
