going to upgrade 2005 a 36 bonanza with Dynon glass and was wondering if I will maintain the electric trim rocker switch on yoke with with the new install
with the Dynon autopilot
will keep Avidyne 540 and 440 gps

Yes. According to the installation manual, the switch will interface with the trim controller, then the controller will in turn actuate the trim servo.

You should be able to use just about any yoke-mount trim switch or MOM-OFF-MOM switch. Since trim switches are usually autopilot specific, and you are now using the Dynon autopilot and ONLY the trim motor from your old system, and Dynon hasn’t specified a switch that I have seen, you should be able to easily wire the (most likely dual-switch) existing one to work, or replace it with one you like better.
