Some feedback .... After mounting the ADAHRS on the roof behind bulkhead A of my GlaStar I plugged the network and OAT cables into their respective sockets and moved on to wiring the EMS after noting that the OAT now showed on the SkyView display. After wiring the EMS I noticed the OAT now showed only dashes. Exhaustive investigation led me finally to pull the OAT plug out from the (not visible) back of the ADAHRS. One wire had broken off just at the end of the barrel inside the plug. I've managed to extract the barrel and solder the wire onto it and have an OAT reading again. I notice that the little tabs on the barrel were not squeezed around the insulation.

Considering the fact of the minimal flexing this cable end had during installation I suggest the design of this cable attachment could warrant reexamination.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into whether there's any improvement we can easily make there.

A simple ? fix would be to fit some heatshrink 3/4" long (4:1 ratio, glue lined) so that it 'attaches' to the black fitting and the wiring. This will give the 'support' you are wanting.

I guess this is a one off fault as there have been no other apparent reports to date.
