For those that have installed a 912iS along with a Dynon EMS Skyview, where are you picking up the CAN GND Pin #4 for HIC A and CAN GND Pin #6 on HIC B?
The CAN HIGH and CAN LOW are picked up from the Dynon EMS connector from pins 36 and 37 but I cannot find a dedicated wire in the Dynon harness for the CAN GND.
I have two maintenance CAN DB9 ports that use the GND from one of the DB9 pins, but this is not from the display port.
I have spoken to Dynon and the tech says he does not know the answer. His only advice is to use the wiring diagram?
I have read that a CAN GND may not be required in many applications.
For those that have installed this system:
1. Which wire did you route to pin #4 on HIC A and pin #6 on HIC B?
Thanks.

There is not a dedicated wire. The Rotax CAN GND just needs to go to any ground for the electrical system. This can be found on pins 3, 5, 13, 16, 17, or 30 on the EMS connector, or you can just ground it to a convenient common ground.
