I would like to use one of the display contact inputs to display a warning from a low oil level sensor I have purchased from Aircraft Extras. The manual says that contact 1 is for an external LEVEL button, and that 2,3,4 are not supported at this time. I believe this question may have been answered before, but in searching for it, I have been unable to find the post. I do not have the heated Pitot, but I would like to save that input until I do. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't use the contacts on the Skyview display but you can use any of the EMS general purpose inputs for contacts. See page 7-55 of the install manual.

Confirm that the use of CONTRACT 2, CONTACT 3, and CONTACT 4 on the SkyView display is not supported in current versions of SkyView.

But, all General Purpose Input Pins (4, 6, 7, 8, 9 10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 31) on the SV-EMS-220/221 can be configured as a contact input, which is the more appropriate place connect an engine sensor.

OK, I have seen the light, and the manual pages referring to the general purpose inputs. I will wire and configure the software on one of those inputs. I am hoping it will be easy to get a widget that will correspond to this contact closure.
Thank you.

I have the oil level sensor connected now to the GP contact input pin 10 on the EMS. I have it configured and it displays on all three screen sizes, lights the external warning LED, and also generates a voice message.  One thing I would like is the ability to use more than six characters to label this contact.  I named it OILLOW.  I can think of other uses for the contact inputs, and am glad Dynon included this capability. Thank you!
