Can I use existing engine probes with Skyview?

Hello,

I have a Vision Microsystems VM1000 Engine monitor. If I upgrade the panel and include a Skyview, can I use the existing probes for the engine monitoring thats included with the Skyview?

From what I remember on the forum - EGT's, CHT's & fuel flow is ok to use existing, not sure about the rest. Do a search on this site.

EGTs are OK if they're type K thermocouples. CHTs are OK if they're type J thermocouples. Any of the FloScan or EI fuel flow sensors will work. The remainder you'll want to get from us.

Those are the ones used with the VMS systems - I've installed a few of those in the past pre Dynon
