Hi all, new to the forum, need some advise please
Attached pick of D180 fitted in Jabiru J430 with 120Hp 6cyl

Green bar on cyl 2 CHT missing
Doubting EGT reading of 215

Would appreciate some advise on where to start fault finding.

The easiest way to troubleshoot this is to swap the suspect EGT with another EGT that is working normally.

If the suspect reading moves to the other cylinder, it's the EGT.

If the suspect reading stays on that cylinder, it's in the harness or the EMS.

Does the green bar normally disappear when EGT is to low or might this be a calibration / software update issue.

You're not seeing the green bar because it is below the beginning set range of your bar (this is configurable). Look on the right strip of numbers to see how much lower your EMS thinks that EGT is than the others.

This is almost definitely the EGT or the wiring to it. There's no calibration for EGTs, and neither hardware nor software can really misbehave in a way that would affect only one EGT.
