Just need to confirm the verbiage.

(PIN 15) PUSH-TO-TALK = Comm Mic key (PIN 30)
(PIN 23) MICROPHONE IN = Comm Mic HI (PIN 15)

(PIN 9) MICROPHONE/PTT GND = Comm Mic LO (PIN 14)

I know it is remedial, but I don't want to try and remove any pins if I can avoid it!

Is this supposed to be for Com 2? The pin numbers you have on the PS8000 are for Com 2. If so, you appear to be good. You can compare here:

Thanks for reply and you are correct, this is for comm 2. I have a diagram and it has PIN 15 and 30 reversed from what I put above. I have cross-referenced PS-engineering manual and the Dynon Comm Install manual but it just doesnt map the verbiage exactly so I just needed confirmation. Thanks for the answer Rhino.

When King radios were pretty much the standard all others were measured by, the convention used to pretty much be:

Mic Audio Hi
Mic Audio Lo
Phone Audio Hi
Phone Audio Lo
Keyline (PTT)

The audio shield drains, plus "Audio Lo" for mic and phone, and the ground for the keyline (mic key and/or PTT) were all connected to an "Audio Common" which was a ground stud on the aft side of the firewall (or bulkhead forward of instrument panel), some distance away from any power grounds.

Whenever I'm trying to match up the different lingo from one manufacturer to another, I always translate each back to the King standard. So far, its worked every time for me.
