Comant VHF/GPS Antenna CI-2480-200

I'm wondering if the Comant VHF/GPS Antenna CI-2480-200 combo antenna would work with the latest Dynon hardware. In some of the reading it specifies it was designed for garmin specific GPS. The seller states:
The GPS antenna is amplified 17db gain and meets Garmin specs for an IFR, non-WAAS antenna.

So I'm wondering if this is a buy or if I should pass on it.

None of Dynon's GPS equipment requires a separate antenna. Our "antennas" are actually the whole GPS unit all in the small external box. So you'd have nothing to hook up.
