Dynon Support,

Working through the final wiring on my system (2 Skyview 10" units, EMS, ARINC429, 2 servos, 2 back-up batteries, one ADAHRS) and have an issue.

With the system on, if I key the mic on Com 1 (430W) I get a sudden indication of about 750-800 fpm positive climb. When I release the mic, it settles back to normal. If I switch to COM 2 (an SL40), the indication is worse; 8500-9000 fpm with the unit climbing to about 600' indicated (in my basement).

I can switch either SV unit off and the result is consistent. Things are similar even with the audio panel off (a Garmin GMA240). Changing frequencies on either radio makes no difference. Same "climb" responses using the co-pilot mic key.

If I hit IDENT on the GTX327 I get no response (everything is good).

Any advice as to where to start?

Thanks

Russ

We’ve seen this before. It's rare and can get involved. RF is voodoo magic, basically. Shoot an email to support at dynonavionics dot com for individual troubleshooting on this issue.
