Yes the AvMap EKP-IV works just fine. The only things to be careful of is that 1, remember to turn on the communications after doing a software upgrade on the AvMAp and 2 that you cannot run the AP at the same time as you are using the weather feature. You must turn of weather on the AvMap menu page to release the comm line. Turning off power to the Wx receiver will not do it.
