I have a D-10A and need to do checklists etc. The current interface is by a cable with 9 pin D sub. There are female pins in positions 2,3 and 5. How can I convert this to a usb or other connector useable with a modern connector? Can I use a Mac?

You can purchase adapters online but the wire mapping may not be correct. I found a USB panel adapter that allows you to wire the female USB connector any way you want. I think it came from L-com. I'll try to find a link.

EDIT: Found link:

Dynon sell a suitable 9 pin D-Sub serial to USB cable, and it includes the information on how to connect it, drivers etc. Not very cheap but reasonable, and with a very good chance it will work.

I think the support program (backup, update, checklist setting, log recovery etc) is Windoze only.
