The USB-serial converters we supply do come with a small, 3 inch CD-Rom.

If you are using the USB-Serial converter we sell, you can additionally download the drivers package here:

http://www.dynonavionics.com/downloads/Dynon_USB_To_Serial_Driver.zip

Do not use the above drivers if you bought your USB-Serial converter from another source. They will only work with the one Dynon Avionics supplies.

Hi Dynon ...

Is the Serial to USB converter a part of the D100 package since shipping the D100?

Because I buyed one in Okt. 2006 and my Dealer said there was no converter in the package :-(

Regards,
John

It does, usually. We normally sell the "complete" EFIS-D100 with the mounting tray, usb-serial converter, and the EDC-D10A remote magnetometer. However, we also will sell the "instrument only" for a lesser, individual price, if the customer already has the tray/EDC/ect.

The original Dynon packing slip (which the dealer may not pass along) would indicate how exactly it was ordered from us.

In any case, we do sell the USB-serial converters directly for $20, though honestly you can get them quicker and potentially cheaper at your local computer store or superhugemart.
