I'm connecting an HS-34 to a GNS-430 as shown on the wiki site, but I'm trying to figure out how to connect the trutrak A/P in with those two. The trutrak manual doesn't address the HS-34, but shows connecting the autopilot to the ARINC and serial outputs of the GNS-430.

Will it work to splice the ARINC lines out of the 430 and send the data to both the A/P and the HS-34 or should I connect the HS-34 ARINC and serial outputs to the A/P?

I also have a Garmin handheld wired to the HS-34 that I'd like to be able to drive the A/P with via the HS-34 if that's possible. Will the HS-34 output ARNIC and serial data based on what's being displayed on the HSI?

Hope this makes sense... Thanks!

The ARINC out lines from the 430 can just be split to both the HS34 and the AP.

The HS34 won't convert from serial to ARINC. You'll need to wire the serial from the Handheld direct to the AP.
