Hi all,
Can we use a firewall connector to connect EMSKIT L4C to the SV-EMS-220 or is it mandatory to connect directly ?
Thanks for your attention.

For the 37 pin connector, this isn't an issue. But the 25 pin connector is all thermocouples. You don't want temperature change across any non-thermocouple specific junction, or else you'll see errors in your CHTS and EGTS. So you don't want a junction on that harness unless you find special thermocouple connectors of the right type (type J for the CHTs, type K for the EGTs, which are intermingled on the 25 pin connector per the installation guide).

FYI - I've had success using Dsub connectors on the firewall for the thermocouple wires using the closed barrel sockets and pins & with a 'metal' 45 deg exit backshell. ;)
