I need to replace an EGT probe, and the one I have for a spare has a different connector (it's a white-ish plastic on the female spade connector). Anyone know what the correct matching male part is or where to get it?

Got the replacement from ACS about a year ago...hoping these "new" connectors are better than the older ones, but in any case, I need to get a stash of the appropriate mates for them...

thanks!

They may work, but are they the correct connector? The AMP PIDG connectors I have are color-coded red, yellow or blue, not white...

And I use an AMP 59250 crimper for those, as well.

I didn't think there were white AMP connectors.

However, there MUST be a male matching connector for these probes. Yes, I could use a red male (spade) connector, but I'd like to use the correct part if possible.

It's the anal retentive engineer in me... :)

Oh, and while it was initially bouncing all over, it eventually went to a red X...until I removed the probe, scowled at it, swore at it, and used very stern language, and then put it back in. During a ground run today post-oil change, it's working just fine again.

Go figure. Hmph.

I understand, the spade ( male) connectors are available as an AMP part, try EDMO or other supplier over there. I'm fairly sure AS&S & B&C don't have them.

Ps - "working now" will probably come back to haunt you ;D

Yeah, since it failed once, it's bound to fail again. I'll be changing it out very soon...
