Crazy EGT Digits when using PTT on RV-12

On my soon-to-fly RV-12 (Skyview and SL-40 transceiver), whenever I activate the PTT button to transmit, the S/V's EGT digital values both go crazy.  I have separated the SL-40's coax as much as possible from the S/V's EGT wires (4" of separation is the most I can manage). 

Some have suggested that I should just live with this interference since it does not hurt anything ("Don't look at the EGTs when transmiting ... ") Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this?

I had the same issues. Did everything. Do you have the EMS -A version? I had my EMS upgraded to the -A and the EGTs are none existent to rarely seeing the EGTs jump with PTT.

Call Dynon, explain issue and they will give you a RMA.  Upon receiving they will replace the faulty PC board.

Thanks rv12roger, I contacted Dynon and my EMS-220 is going back to Dynon for the upgrade to the PC board.
