Ref my D100
Is there anyway of turning off the CRS indicator on the HSI?
Its on when there is no output from the GPS and points North.
It can be manually adjusted via the menu, and the display CRS toggling to No makes no difference, it still remains a big purple arrow pointing North. If its manually adjusted off north, cycling the machine puts it back pointing north.

Any ideas?

Wow - they've got an indicator to tell you when you are experiencing CRS?  (Can't Remember Stuff...)

It sounds like you have an x96 gps. If you do, you need to set the data rate setting to "normal" under the advanced NMEA setup. If that's not the case, what GPS or radio are we talking about here?
