Dear Dynon,

I am a huge fan!!  I just ordered my second Skyview for my Velocity.

I have been waiting for a company to develop an innovative product (at affordable prices) like this before I start the IFR rating process.  I will fly IFR for pleasure, and for increased safety.

While researching what would give me better SA while flying (ultimately making me a better safer pilot), I realize that from a business development perspective, there needs to be a customer base for requirements.

I realize that you have a Current and Futures Features (I follow it!!) section :

http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/news_technology_preview.html

I would like to cast my vote for the below future features:
• Geo Synched Approach Plates
• Highway in the Sky (HITS)
• Weather/Traffic (preferably over the FAA ADS-B GTX-330 ES system = No Fees)

I would encourage the rest of the prospective Dynon customers to also articulate support for what they are willing to pay for!!

Again, thanks for a great product.  I will be watching the Future Features closely :)  Tim

DITTO and AFFIRM on those 3
+ Stormscope integration display for the rest of the world that don't have WX Weather yet.

Thanks for these inputs.

We are totally customer driven, and our feature decisions are mostly based on requests from customers. (Enhanced, we hope, with a little ingenuity of our own.) And we listen hardest to existing customers.

So please keep them coming. We're listening.

My priority for the moment is to split out the magnetometer from the ADAHRS to allow much more simplified and flexible mounting options.

I know you've said in the past that it is a possibility, any updates on that train of thought?

For some reason I feel compelled to agree on the split out issue.  It is so much easier to run a simple wire or two to an appropriate location than wire and hose.  I was kinda suprised to see this intergrated.  I have a buch of stuff in the nose and on my canard and am limited.  However, I am just about to install so maybe I will just place it up front, near my pitot and it will have no interfearance.....what do ya think are the odds  ;)

Perhaps there is some great engineering reason that it is better to intergrate the functions...maybe just streamlined manufacturing.....donno.

Oh, and ditto to the other comments. Still think y'all are doing a great job....no condemnation. Just mindful thought. :)

All the best,

If I had my vote it would be to be able to turn off the tiny HSI and add a full size one that you could display on the split screen. The ablity to switch between map and HSI. I only have room for the 7 inch displays and as much as I love the Skyview, I just don't see the HSI as being usable. I am just about to order a D100 and D120 but would do the Skyview if it had these features.

I am an EXISTING Dynon customer and AGREE with everything this poster is requesting. I would add that I would like VERY much to see the addition of the WEATHER feature moved WAY UP the schedule. In closing I would like to say -
WEATHER
WEATHER
WEATHER !!!!!! ;)
