The D10 and D100 in my Jabiru 230 (2006) have recently began to re-boot (not at the same time, mostly the D10, sometimes the D100) in flight when the engine revs exceed 2900rpm (approx). They behave well below this speed.
I have examined fully the wiring and all is good. I am currently of the thinking the voltage regulator/rectifier is allowing over-voltage and this is causing the re-boot, is this possible?  Both have the keep alive wire disconnected.
Is there a way to check the rectifier or should I just replace it. Or is there another explanation or cause?
Any help would be appreciated.

If voltage is spiking or diving momentarily, you could see reboots. First, does the EMS voltmeter show anything amiss during regular operation? That's the quickest test you can do in the cockpit. From there, the EMS-D10 does have datalogging capability, so make sure that's turned on. When the event happens, you can pull a datalog (you'll need a PC with a serial port or USB to serial converter as well as the Dynon support program from our downloads page. But beyond that, you'll probably want to engage a dealer for your aircraft or other A&P or light sport repairman: the fact that both devices are having issues would point to there being an issue with the power being delivered to them.

Thanks for the reply. I'll take my laptop for a fly and log the data. I do watch the voltmeter (D10) but don't see any unusual movements. Gradual variations between 12.6v and 14.0v, re-boots at any displayed voltage (not just at high numbers). Anyway, I'll take the logged data to local avionics tech. Regards
