D100 HSI function question

I am planning an upgrade to my RV8 to include a D100 and new WAAS enabled Garmin 430. Will the new D100 HSI function allow me to get both the CDI and glide path (g/s and waas g/s) to display on the HSI page? If so, I won't need the indicator from Garmin, thus saving valuable panel space.
Also I'm reading posts on the Maltronics RV 10 forum about the need to cool the Dynon. Is there any recomendations and provisions for the use of a cooling fan?

The Garmin 430 only outputs enough information for us to be able to generate CDI based on GPS cross track error. The 430's nav radio-bsed CDI/GS can only be displayed by a head that can accept the 430's analog or Arinc outputs. Our products do not currently have the hardware bits necessary to have this capability.

Appropriate cooling to your Dynon Avionics products will depend heavily on your panel configuration and operating climate. In most cases, simply getting some air flow over the unit (typically via an avionics fan) will solve heat-related problems. Our units will let you know when the temperature immediately around the unit is greater than 50C (122F), at which point, the unit is technically out of spec, but will still work.

The Garmin 430 is not WAAS enabled and no-body knows for sure if they ever will be just ask the people who put down 1500 on the upgrade 2 years ago that was promised two years ago, did you mean the Garmin 480? Purely a selfish question on my part, the more 480s the better the support for D10A.
