Am getting a blue blinking Dynon splash screen on startup of my D100. The associated D120 starts up fine, but I notice all lights remain illuminated on my AP74 panel. This occurs with and without engine running. The units have all got the latest software, the ships battery is over 12V and I have no internal battery in the D100. No history of problems with these units either. What's going on and any workarounds available? Thanks, Mike.

Hi Mike - We'll probably need to see that D100 here. You can't fix it in the field, unfortunately.

Not even a well aimed blow to some sensitive region? Incantations or virgins offered to the Dynon deities? Oh well, off to the post office... ::)

Hello,

I wrote from France for my brother Daniel who need help.
My brother has made it's own plane by himself.
He equip it with a Flight Deck two years ago.
Because of turbulence in his life he stop working on his plane for this time and the battery of the Dynon came flat.
A splash blue screen appairs almost every second when he try to start it.
I repair the batterie where two elements where out of range, but the splash blue screen is still there.
It is like the Dynon doesn't reach to boot on.
Can anybody give some advice on the procedure to repair it. I have a daughter who is in Berkeley an can manage the expedition if necessary.
Thank for your Help.

Contact the Dynon dealer in France, Finesse Max. Google them for their phone number. They'll give you the procedure to follow and ;) in French.

Michel / Daniel:

Unfortunately, for that problem, the FlightDEK-D180 will have to be returned to Dynon Avionics in the USA for repair. You can contact Dynon Avionics Technical Support at 425-402-0433 or support (at) dynonavionics (dot) com to arrange for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Our dealer in France may be willing to help, but we're willing to work with you directly as that's more efficient.
