I have recently purchased an aircraft with a D1000 installed. I have two problems. One the horizon as seen in the attached image wanders about the screen (very unstable) in stable airt and the other is the indicated winds (lower left of screen) will jump to crazy figures such as 98 knots then at a later time display expected winds. Any ideas would be appreciated

A video of this behavior will help us see what you're seeing. There are a few complexities to this issue - in this situation we'd be wondering about the magnetometer and/or airspeed indication with respect to the wind vector (or much less likely, issues with GPS position). Attitude can be affected by sudden airspeed changes, so that is something else you should pay attention to. Regardless, you should work directly with our technical support staff so that they can give you some more personalized service for your issue. Can you send a video of this behavior to support at dynonavionics dot com?

Hi Jake. I have uploaded two short videos - located here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5etYxO36D7rNlJ2Q0pnSW94cjQ

Be interested in your thoughts as to possible solutions. Both the crazy horizon and the exaggerated wind/xwind figures displayed.

Can you pm me with your ph number ? I need to find out some more info which could resolve the 'issues' quicker than my typing speed ;)
BTW - I'll be going past YMBD ( if your aircraft is there) on my way home to YADG on Sunday - I can have a quick look at it then if you're around.

There are really only three things I can imagine that can cause that. One would be an ADAHRS that is not anchored at all (ie, a mounting bracket has broken loose or something like that). Next is some severe amount of vibration at the ADAHRS. But the third (and most likely, from your video) is that the ADAHRS has an issue. Give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com so we can help you further with this issue.
