There is a setting for when the audio alert begins, with options like "top of yellow", "bottom of yellow", etc. I find them a bit unclear. Which setting has the audio alert start sooner when approaching a stall and which has it start later?

The Audio Alert Setting for AOA on my D100A is set to 'bottom of yellow'.
However alarm starts at the same time as the plane is actually stalling. From Dynon I have been told to read the manual, which have done and followed. I'm now told from Dynon, that I probably have made the setting to be 'red' and 'bottom of yellow' at the same time, and the 'red' setting will then overrule the 'bottom of yellow' setting.
I find it hard to understand how that is possible as I have the choice between more settings but can only choose one setting.
Do some of you guys on this fora know how I can make it work?
Thanking in advance for any advice.

I think you're also working with our support team (please continue that thread), but a few thoughts:

Do you get a smooth progression on your AOA indication? (taking a video would be helpful here)
What is the inhibit below setting set to?
