I have a D10A and a GTX328 installed. How do I connect the the EFIS to the transponder so that feeds the altitude data ? Is there any additional component I need ?

Yep, still not 100% of what I'll need. If the GTX328 requires "greay code input" (what I'm not sure about) what is the Dynon p/n of the required converter ? I see you indeed know more than I do, hope you can help with this too :)

Thank you for reading the manual, a few don't bother  ::)

Connect the single wire (serial, set up as Format 4)) from the D10A (pin 13) to the Gtx 328 using Port 1 IN (pin 22) set to Icarus Alt.  For a basic install all you need is 3 wires, Power, Ground & the Serial IN.
(You only connect Serial OR grey code, not both).

HTH  ;)
