D180 oil pressure indicator

after updating my D180 to version 3.0 I recognized, that with engine not running, the oil pressure indicator shows 2.23 bar. I expected 0 bar. The engine is Rotax 912 ULS.
Because I usually start Dynon after engine start, I dont´t know, wether this I had this indication also in previosly version 1.8.
But I remember, that the indicated oil pressure was 0 bar when I changed oil last week and of course watching oil pressure when starting engine.
Is this a malfunction or waht is the reason?

We haven't heard of a 3.0.0 upgrade causing any issues with the oil pressure readings. The first thing to do is to go into the EMS sensor setup menu and check that the sensor type is set correctly (type 1 for the 912)

Next test: what is the resistance (measured with EMS power off) across the sensor at rest?

the restistance ist 345 ohms.

Hmm. Something is wrong with your wiring, sender, or test method.

The oil pressure sender is 9.5 ohms at 0 PSI and 91 ohms at 60 PSI. 345 ohms would be totally off the scale at 191 PSI (about 13 bar).

Are you measuring the resistance right at the sender with the wire disconnected? If the wire is still hooked up you'll get funny readings due to the internal EMS electronics.

I meassured again with EMS disconnected and now resistance ist 58 ohms . of course this corresponds with the indicated oil-pressure 2.23 bar.
It seems, that my sensor fails.

There is one more problem with my fuel-flow-sensor (flowcan 201) . It shows sometimes correct values, sometimes values up to 100 l/h .
I allready changed the sensor last week. Nearly the same effect (values up to 50 l/h).
Do you have any idea?

The reason for the wrong fuel-flow-indication is probably a too hot sensor. I have to isolate.
