D180 page configuration

I am going to put a D180 in my panel and pair it with a D100. I will place the 180 in front of the pilot. My question is about how much latitude I have in configuring the display pages. I think it is possible to have the D180 display the attitude on the left 2/3 of the screen and the engine monitor display on the remaining 1/3. What I am unsure of is what engine parameters I may display in this configuration. I plan to use this setup at cruise so CHT/EGT need not be displayed. I would like MP, RPM, oil temp, fuel quantity and voltage. Can I pick and choose the parameters for this setup or am I limited to the factory values? I am not sure which values the factory supplies in this condensed EMS display.

So when networked, the both the FlightDEK-D180 and EFIS-D100 can both display any of the screens depicted on this page. Within that context, the 1/3 main EMS page, which includes tach, map, fuel pressure, fuel quantity, fuel flow, oil pressure, and CHT/EGTs, has a fixed layout. Items can only be removed from that display. However, on the 2/3 EMS page, as well as the aux page, you start gaining control over the vertical "info" items. These are the vertically oriented bars and similar items, encompassing such things as volt, amps, trim, flaps, contact, timers, fuel flow info, and more. On that page, the 4th picture down shows info items on the right 3rd of the screen on the aux page.

I think the 1/3 EMS page is well thought out. Thank you for the reference. Looking at the 1/3 EMS page, I do not see fuel pressure. I see fuel flow (a pleasant surprise) but not pressure. Also, in that picture, there appears to be a L & R fuel quantity but no pointer although 19 is shown as a numeric value next to both left and right tanks. Am I missing something?

The fuel levels "drain". They don't have a pointer. How much fuel on board is graphically depicted by how full the gauges are, plus the number next to them. In the 19 case they are full, but look above at the case with 10 and you can see what we mean.

Fuel pressure is not on the page, but you still have an alarm for it if it goes out of range.

Thanks for the quick reply. "Draining" is just fine and may actually be better. I look forward to getting this all up and running in the Glasair.

Don't forget your shoehorn!

:)

You can also disable screens you never want to see, as well as arrange the order in which you want to cycle through them and the default startup page.

Gonna work on those voice alerts, GPS cross-fill, and alternator noise on Saturday if you want to come play with mine for a while on the ground.
