D180 roll inverted.

I have a D180. Often (but not everytime) on power up the attitude rolls inverted several seconds after power on. It will remain inverted for less then a minute then correctes itself. After that, it appears to work correctly.

I have only flown the unit 2.5 hours.

Any thoughts?

Recieved the D180 back. RMA 5050

First time I turned it on, it worked great.

Second time and every time thereafter, it do exactly what it did before I sent it to you.

I have a call in to tech support waiting for you to call me back.

What is you policy for sending a replacement unit?

Plane was down for over 3 weeks the first time I sent it to you. I need to get some flying done.

Total time on the unit is less the 4 hours

Most of the Dynon people that look at our web forum are on their way to Oshkosh, and will be there all week. We still have a customer support specialist at the office, so please give us a call on Monday if you haven't already.

That being said, your problem is really odd, and depending on what we found when it was at Dynon, we'll either happily send you a different unit or we'll need to look at your wiring. This is a problem we basically never see, so to see it twice is really odd.
