D180 Upgrade

I picked out the D180 panel of the plane and took it up to my desktop to update. When I try to do the upgrade, get a warning that the EDC this out. What happens if I do the upgrade?

Juliano, you need to have the EDC connected to the EFIS when you do the upgrade, as the EDC will get a new software as well. You should do it at the acft with a Laptop, or take the EDC out as well and reconnet it to the EFIS before you start the update.

If the EDC-D10A is not connected during upgrade, its firmware will not get upgraded, and in some cases this will cause the EDC-D10A to no longer provide heading until you re-do the firmware update with the EDC-D10A connected.
