D3 will not clear the BIG RED X

Just received my D3 and the BIG RED X will not clear from the screen. Anyone have a soulition

You'll have the red X if you don't have a GPS lock. So first, make sure it's not just that. Although the attitude isn't GPS-based, GPS lock is required to aid the attitude algorithm.

I just bought a D3. Rex X does not clear. I waited outside to see if it linked un with GPS satellites but the X remained. What should I do?? I do get the g meter screen.
