D700 Orientation

Has anyone mounted a D700 vertically. If not, is it possible?

You could mount it vertically but the image/data remains displayed in the normal widescreen format, it is not an iPhone that automatically adjusts nor can it be adjusted manually

The interface isn't rotatable, so it's not really possible.
