I'm looking at a ream :) of paper documentation for various Dynon products, some of which I will use for frequent reference, some will be used once (hopefully) and then stored and most of which may be superseded.

What have you found to be successful in physically handling and managing the paper? I've thought of punching the sheets and putting them into a binder, but the holes often tear out. I've thought of buying a bunch of page protectors and putting each page in one of those in a binder.

I work in my farm shop so sometimes it's windy and things get blown around.

I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, just thought I'd ask if anyone found a practice they like or I should just get on with the project and make do with the manuals as they come.

I use my ipad and iphone. I get the latest pdf docs and revisions for all my avionics and store them on the ipad. I use goodreader app to view and search those pdf docs. Great because its all searchable and when you tap on something in the table of contents it takes you write to that section. Its also easy to add bookmarks to points in the docs you want to reference back to quickly or redly.

you can install all those documents as PDF in your Foreflight documents section.
My foreflight contains all my Glastar aircraft manuals, all my Skyview manuals and my GTN 750 owners manual.
I also file my weight and balance, and fuel flow/endurance data in the same documents section.
These PDF documents are installed into foreflight using ITunes
I have never referrenced them in flight however. Fly and practice your avionics
