Dimming offset?

I had to send in one of my displays for repair and the good team in the repair department told me I got pretty much all new guts in my display. I finally had a chance to do some night flying and I have a problem that I am stumped at how to resolve. The displays are fine for daytime flying. No issues at all. But at night it appears that they dim together based on one of the displays ambient sensor. What happens is the old display goes so dark that I cannot read it. But the new display is fine. I tried adjusting the backlight settings on the old display but no joy. The older disply still goes too dark. I would think there should be some sort of dimming offset that I could adjust to prevent this but I am at a loss. Any help out there?

I have had erratic display dimming on my two HDX displays similar to this. Sometimes one is VERY bright and one dim. Sometimes both are way too dim. On these, if I select the "Display" icon, there is a dimming offset feature that does work, unfortunately the setting applies to both displays. I really wish that I could independently adjust the dimming offset.
