Display Brightness

Ever sinice I had my EFIS D10 upgraded to a D10A the display is not as bright. It is very dark when the temp. is below 50deg. It will get brighter after 20min but not near as bright as before the upgrade.

David,

We literally re-use your screen when we upgrade your unit from a D10 to a D10A, so the brightness should be identical. If you're totally sure that it's not as bright, you should give us a call during the day or send an email and we can see what we can do.

Also, are you running the latest software? We did have a fix a few months ago that helps warm-up time in cold temperatures, and this may be your problem.

Thank You for your reply, I sent my D10 in for the upgrade in Aug 05 and I see there is a software upgrade since, so I'll try that first then I will let you know the result. ThankYou David

The firmware upgrade sorted this for me - initally the problem only showed until the unit had warmed up. Now with the new firmware the display is far brighter right from power on. Rgds, Nic
