Do I need my ARINC?

A couple of years ago, when I bought my Skyview suite, I bought the ARINC module. I then learned that it was only useful if I was installing a certified GPS source. I pulled the ARINC box out of my RV-8 project and put it on the shelf. A few months ago, I swapped my GPS-250 for a -2020.
Do I need to reinstall the ARINC, or is it still unnecessary?
I hope to have a fully compliant ADS-B system.

You do not need the ARINC box to be 2020 compliant if you have the SV-GPS-2020
