Dual com and intercom problems?

I saw a note from Dynon that the use of dual Dynon coms through the Dynon intercom is not recommended even though it appears supported in the installations documentation. Why?

The SkyView / SkyView SE System Installation Guide and the SV-INTERCOM-2S Installation and Operation Guide will be revised as soon as possible to recommend against installing a second SV-COM-C25 with an SV-INTERCOM-2S.

Bummer, my panel build just increased by about $1500 dollars as I had planned to use just the Dynon system. :'(

Sorry to disappoint, but we really want you to have a good experience with our products and don't want to sell them where they may not perform well.

We really like the PS engineering 5000EX which is only $895 for a full audio panel, so the difference can be more like $600 not $1500.

I've got one in my panel, and I'll second that. It's a good, cheap audio panel with a lot of functionality.
