Probably been asked before, but can't find it. In the initial setup, Skyview asks for your N Number, which I don't have yet. I know that I can use a dummy number to setup configurations. When I receive my real N Number and input it, will Skyview retain all previous configuration settings, or will they have to be added again? Thanks in advance.

pg 1-3 of 11.0 install manual:
Setting the Tail Number is required for before you can configure your SkyView Network (described below): SETUP > AIRCRAFT INFORMATION > TAIL NUMBER. If Tail Number has not yet been issued for your plane, set TAIL NUMBER to something other than DYNON.

nothing that says all your work will be lost when you get the tail number.

Just remember to go back and change it later!

A note for AUSTRALIAN READERS

When putting your tail number in USE ONLY the three letter registration. DO NOT put the VH- in your ID.

For any RAAus registered LSA's consult with RAAus for details and your hex code.

Correct David, use ONLY the Hex code NOT the Binary code supplied with the registration of aircraft in Australia.

Search the Internet for a Binary to Hexadecimal converter  ;)

Yep, read the manual about setting dummy N number and it says nothing about keeping or deleting settings if you enter your real N number later. Just wanted to know what others have experienced in this situation.

It will not delete or change other settings if you change the N number.
