Does anyone face same problem, and know how to solve ?
When I disconnect the b/u battery, the main screen comes on.

Thanks

Is this a new install?

Check the voltage going to the Skyview with the battery connected. If it's around 10 volts or below, the Skyview will automatically shut down. If that's the case, check the voltage again without the battery. If it goes back up, your battery is dragging the voltage down. That could mean the battery is bad, or that it's depleted very low.

Thanks for the reply.
This is not a new install.
I flew with B/U battery disconnected for a while now, and decided to try again and connect it. I faced the same issue.
After your information- I tried again to connect, the b/u battery.
The voltage is 13.0 without the B/U battery, and 13.1 the voltage of the B/U,
The screen came on this time, as it should so I am puzzled.
I will try again, before the next flight, to connect the battery, and see how that goes.
Thanks anyhow, will keep following this issue.

Post in thread 'Skyview will not boot up with Backup Battery Installed'
https://forum.flydynon.com/threads/...ith-backup-battery-installed.12223/post-71339

search the forums and there may be more but in summary
call Dynon
you may have a bad battery interface
let us know how you resolved this.
Thanks a lot!!
The thread helps.
Will monitor the behavior of my screen/battery next time when trying to startup and will update here. Till now, the failure is inconsistent, so hard to know what is the problem or how to fix

Have you tried starting the panel using the button1 versus master? In other words without master on can you power on the display using the backup battery?
if Yes what happens if you turn on master While the screen is powered solely by BU BATTERY ?Honestly nothing, but asking to assure it remains on and not reboots.

Will get to my hangar later on this week, and will run the tests.
The Information that I read, was to press number one button, right after turning in the master.
Will try both options (before and after)
In last flight, the screen powered on normally and didn’t have to try anything.
Will advise.
