I have completed a design and manufacture of a dual screen interface board, this board allow you to connect two Dynon Skyview screens, Classic, or HDX neatly via flat ribbon cable, with one output cable, this saves the purchase of a 2nd interface cable and makes for an easy neat integration.
If any one is interested let me know happy to pre build or supply blank circuit boards.

Foxlees - you should reconsider your post #4 above, I’ve been using the Makerplane.org 25 way hub for years with all sorts of equipment (mainly Dynon) & they work with ALL the Dynon equipment !!
Please explain your reasoning 🤔

Not quite sure how a 25 pin hub will work with a Skyview system that used a DB37 37 pin main connector.

Correct, that was the reason for my comment, and the reason I have designed a board that allows the interfacing of the 37pin connectors, it also allows for separate back up battery connection, and those connections that are not common for both displays to be separately connected via the board, this as been fully tested and works very well.

Mainly because your board is for 25pin Dsub, the Dynon skyview requires DB37 Dsub

I am the designer of the AXIS-25A. Dynon's harness does not terminate on a 37 pin connector unless you add one. In the case of the AXIS-25A, all of the required bussed interconnect between two SkyViews are handled with 25 pin connectors. This provides all of the required fail-safe interconnect, is lightweight, and allows simple access for other avionics devices.

It works identically with legacy and HDX SkyView systems. As Jake has indicated, they have been flying for more than a decade in many different aircraft.

I think you may be confusing connectors. To my knowledge, there is no DB37 to DB37 cable in the Skyview system. The end of the cable that connects to the HDX display is a DB37, but the other ends are not. The displays do not connect directly to each other through DB37 to DB37 connectors, nor to any other unit in the system. They connect through ethernet and the SV-NET-HUB. The other ends of the cables on those DB37 connectors go to various different places in the system, with various different sized connectors on them, depending on those locations. The only other DB37 connector I can think of is on the EMS, and that doesn't connect to the displays. The interconnect boards referenced in this thread simply bring some of the common signals from those DB37 connections together in a central location for redistribution, and can have however many pins they need to work. They work like the SV-NET-HUB, which uses DB9 connectors, but they have more functions, so the connecters are bigger than DB9. They're also cheaper than an SV-NET-HUB.

There is some confusion here. Both of my Skyview screens have a db37 connector on the back. The OP s board is a distribution board that takes one 37 pin connector and distributes it to two Skyview screens avoiding the need to splice wires together for the serial ports etc. It is not a network board it is effectively a Y harness with a couple of extras. From what I can gather he does not claim it replaces the network hub which is a 9 pin dsub system between the various devices. The only DB25 connector I know of in the system is on the EMS board and that is for engine sensors. Sure you can have interconnect boards that you can plug stuff into with any number of pins but eventually you need a DB37 connector to go into the back of the Skyview screen to make things work.

Then that's part of the confusion. Vern's board does more than just connect screens. Regardless, you don't need 37 pins to interconnect two displays, because many of the wires are discrete connections that can't be jumpered together.

How do we go about the blank circuit boards?
