Hey gang. Homework for my Garmin GPS175 install. On the back of my primary display (skyview SE 7") I have one open 9 pin port. Is that a SV-net port I can connect to the ARINC 429? Cheers

Can't believe this hasn't been answered. Short answer- yes! Anytime you see a DB9 port on most any Skyview gear, that is a SV-Net port.

The Skyview System Installation Guide discusses this, starting on chapter 4, page 18.

Super. Thanks!
You can do that, or keep the ports on the display open and use the Dynon network hub. If you are using the Garmin as a position source for the ADS-B out, it needs a separate serial output port for that purpose, and a different port for the ARINC adapter.
