EasyVfr transfer Dynon HDX

Hello evereybody.

I transfer my Flightplan established on EasyVfr via WIFI to my Dynon HDX800. This is easy and works very fine. However, I'm not sure if all the NOTAMS are transferred at the same time as the flight plan. Could you confirm that the NOTAM-Informations are included during the upload from the Flightplan via WIFI?

I tried to transfer the Aerodata-File and the Obstacle-File via the menu Skyview Data Exchange from EasyVFR 4 on my Smartphone via WIFI to my Dynon HDX800. Unfortunately this doesn't work. See also the attached print-screen.

Am I doing something wrong?

Load the data to a normal usb-stick and put that into the dynon usb slot during flight.

I can't connect an "normal" USB Stick to my Smartphone. Therefor it is impossible to load the data on a normal usb stick.
It seems that EasyVFR 4 gives the possibility to transfer the data via an wireless usb stick (see also the print-screen).
However i tried this option via my wireless stick connected in my Dynon HDX800. Unfortunately this doesn't works.

I bought already such an adapter but without succes. It seems that EasyVFR will transfer the data from my Smartphone via WIFI to the WIFI Adapter connected in the HDX800.
There are no action by clicking on the button "copy to USB stick" . It is the same by connecting the USB adapter.

Bonjour, j'utilise avec mon smartphone Androïd un adaptateur USB-C vers USB OTG

Avec le navigateur (Firefox) je me connecte au site de PocketFMS et je télécharge les fichiers des bases de données.

Mais ATTENTION ! Lors du téléchargement le nom de l'extension du fichier change, il devient ".bin" au lieu de '.dup" :

Il faut renommer l'extension à l'aide d'une application d'explorateur de fichiers sous Androïd (il y en a de préinstallé sur votre smartphone sinon vous pouvez en télécharger une sur le Play Store).

Si vous n'avez pas spécifié la racine de la clef USB comme destination du téléchargement (par défaut les fichiers se trouvent dans le dossier 'download' de la mémoire interne du smartphone), il faudra copier vos fichiers de base de données sur la clef USB à l'aide de l'explorateur de fichier.
Après avoir éjecter proprement votre clef USB il suffit de la replacer sur le port de l'Efis et de suivre la procédure de mise à jour.

I think that in EasyVFR4 the mention "*** Waiting for AvionicsData-Wireless-USB-stick ***" refers to a special USB key developed by pocketFMS and not at all a classic USB key or a Dynon Wifi dongle.

Personally, I much prefer to use a low profile USB key which does not risk getting caught on the first bad move.

If you don't have this special USB key you can still use the procedure I wrote above (en français).

Merci beaucoup pour vos explications en utilisant un USB-Stick connecté au Smartphone pour transférer ensuite les données du site Web via Smartphone sur ce stick. J'avais déjà essayé cette possibilité auparavant et ceci avait bien fonctionné.

Par contre vous avez tout à fait raison en supposant que je cherche une solution de pouvoir transférer (via le logiciel Easy VFR 4) les données directement via Wifi sur mon Dynon HDX 800.

Par contre j'ignorais jusqu'à présent la possibilité de devoir utiliser à ce sujet un USB-Stick dédicacé de la part de pocketFMS qui à l'heure actuelle n'est pas encore disponible sur le marché. Via le Stick de la société Dynon je n'ai pas eu de succès.

J'attends donc avec impatience la sortie de ce nouveau stick en espérant de trouver ainsi une solution à mon problème.
