EDC 10A , EFIS , AutoPilot

Have EFIS 100,EMS 120, EDC10A, AP74 with 2 Servos
? 1. On upload of %.5, 5.2, 5.3, it is not recognising edc10a yet are getting the compass and OAT and TAS , pressure ALT on the EFIS. Without sounding like Prof Julius Sumner-Miller, Why is this so.

Q2. Have Garmin 495 hooked up via Pin 19 on EMS. With the AP74 are not getting it to work in NAV mode. NAV light not coming on. AP is working well in Track mode and HDG mode with the magenta data and bug up in TRK mode. Could you please advise.

The EDC-D10A firmware isn't getting updated for some reason, but if your heading is working, this isn't a problem practically since the EDC firmware hasn't changed in a very long time.

NAV mode will only work when there is an active waypoint programed. Other common issues are the "output rate" under the advanced NMEA setup incorrectly being set to fast instead of normal. That would make your HSI not work correctly too though.

Thanking you . GPS rate was on high. Now on normal and working fine
