EFIS D-100 can't find EMS D-10 after upgrade

I just upgrade both my EFIS D-100 and EMS D-10 to the new version 4 upgrade. Now both units can't find each other, EMS not detected, EFIS not detected. They were detected prior to the upgrade. Is it necessary now to have the null modem installed?

Hi Herb,

Did you do a DSAB configuration? ( I assume you do have the DSAB connected between your D100 and EMS D10 and not the serial null modem). Go into the D100 menu, goto SETUP, hit MORE several times until you see "DSAB". Hit DSAB and goto configuration. Do a "configure now" and set the D100 as the master. Then select where the system gets the OAT input. That should do it.
