Hi guys, I am the new owner of a Dynamic WT-9 with the Dynon D100 EFIS, I have read the user and the installation manuals and I can´t find why I can´t see the air speed indicator at the left of the screen.
I have tried all the screens and it is not shown.
Can it be disabled in the configuration?

Thanks
JM

It might have been decluttered, which is under SETUP > CLUTTR. In there you can toggle each of the items on the display on and off (both the tape and the digits individually)

Someone has gone into setup and turned most things off from that display.

Press any of the middle buttons, then MORE, then SETUP, then CLUTTR. Under that menu will be IASBAR and IAS, as well as ALTBAR, ALT, and more. These will toggle things on and off.

Ok, now they are working but the IAS is lower than with two GPS even in calm wind it have a 9 knots difference, it can be adjusted? or calibrated?
Another possibility is that the pitot have a insect iside and that´s why it is marking a lower speed, so first thong to do is to remove the pitot and static hose from the instrument and blow with air from the cabin to the pitot to see if something goes out because this plane was stored inside an hangar without a protective sock in the pitot tube so it can be possible that an insect is inside.
If it is free then I will try to calibrate but how can I do it in case I need?
Thank you for your help!

First, make sure they're both showing the same units. Is your GPS showing knots or mph? Check it's speed units setting and make sure it matches the Dynon. Your Dynon is probably in knots (but check under SETUP > UNITS to make sure).

Next, if you're seeing those differences at cruise speed, you likely have either 1) a pitot leak 2) position error due to static port placement/issues).

While there is a pressure calibration for "zero pressure", this affects mainly VERY LOW airspeed and will not have an effect in the cruise speed regime on your aircraft. Refer to the EFIS-D100 installation manual for details on this procedure if you would like to try it anyway though. It can't hurt.

Yes I have all in knots my GPS and also the EFIS, I used another GPS as a backup and I got in the two GPS exactly the same speed but in the EFIS it shows a lower speed, I know that for certain wind conditions it can show a lower reading specially in tail wind but this was not the case, it was no wind.
The static ports are the ones in the aircraft and I will disconnect the instruments and blow also the static port lines to verify that they are clean.
If the EFIS is already calibrated then for sure is some kind of small obstruction inside the line of the pitot or the static ports that the plane have two, one at each side of the fuselage.
I will check and I will let you know, thank you!

And of course, the way to check for sure is to hook everything up to a pitot/static tester.
