EFIS Serial Data Output

With all the new goodies you guys are adding to the EFIS can you output the additional information on the serial port? I am really interested in getting all the data I can, wind speed and direction, temp, TAS, Desinty alt, etc.

Just a suggestion you might want to create messages similar to NMEA so that it is easy to add new data when it comes available.

Is the data the format protocol for the DSAB available to the public I would be interested in seeing what is available on that bus.

DSAB's protocol will probably not be public. It's an RS-485 link, which is more difficult to interface to, and our protocol will be changing constantly as we add features, so keeping it documented would be a large task. We also have the issue that multiple devices will be on the DSAB bus, and if we don't control all of those devices we can't promise reliability of the network.
