EGT CHT extension wires

I need to extend my EGTs to reach the EMS 220 but the colors on the extension wires do not match the EGT wires or the manual (which does match the eGT wire colors. EGT wires are RED/YEL, but the extension is RED/WHITE. What gets hooked up to what?

It sounds like that extension wire is CHT wire (type J thermocouple wire), which is red/white. If that's the case, unfortunately, it won't work. If you ordered it from us, give us a call at 425-402-0433 and we'll help you get it straightened out.
